Part of the problem humans have with humans is their inability to view others as kindred spirits. This is evident in the way we mistrust and mistreat one another. We also, apparently, cannot imagine a person being able to comprehend 'things as they are' at a deeper more complex level than the average individual. This current anti-science trend is evidence of this. All one really has to do to see the difference in individuals is look at the uploads to this site. Miss Marple would equate this site as similar to her own little English village, I think. We are a motley crew, to say the least. This is an 8 by 5.25 inches gel pen drawing on medium bond acid-free paper. Original Jones Art wonders what the world would be like if everyone saw themselves and others more clearly everywhere, including northwest Austin, Texas.

i think, Charles, you are a philosopher instead of an artist. thinking is your habit.

Artist Reply: Well, my mom told me once that I thought too much. Of course, I turned around and 'thought' about that for a bit. Ultimately, I considered that an asset rather than a liability. But I guess it depends upon what kind of thinking one is doing. If one is merely observing and assessing, then think on. If one is stuck in a 'thought loop' full of negativity, then that would be a mental health issue, don't you think. Mr. Wu? Thanks for the comment which was superlative in my book. Hope all is good. :)

Charles, my operated eye has been returning to its own well-known realities, and this in a norm for me. The only thing is that now it sticks to UF spectrum more than the left one. Planning to play table tennis this evening, so.... Thank you and be good!

Artist Reply: Well, I hope everything pings and pongs in a positive way for you, Nikolay. Stay safe. :)

An abstract thinking fellow for sure Charles ... I especially like the pointy angled head : ) Hope your day is productive and running on all cylinders

Artist Reply: Thanks, Dave! I'm not sure being that type makes one a happy fellow but, most assuredly, a less impulsive one. Hope things are going great today in big C. :)

I may have been digressed by my updated right eye which was successfully operated yesterday but may need a day or two to get used to realities, so you shouldn't take my comment too close to heart., Charles!

Artist Reply: If that eye of yours 'gets used to realities' please let me know, Nikolay. I might just try that procedure myself. Glad the operation was a success and hope you are recuperating nicely. Don't worry, no feathers were ruffled, not even a hair. :)

He looks like thinking about a snack, like a slice of Swiss cheese or something. II do trust you are full.

Artist Reply: Does the viewer bring to the table only his desire for a slice of cheese? This is a highly philosophical question which I must ponder for days and days, I think. Hope you are doing great, Nikolay. :)
