This is probably my last multiple pen drawing. I believe this one to be more refined than the previous two. Is refinement a positive or a negative in the 21st Century 'art world?' The vote is still being tallied for that question. Art is a funny thing. People, by and large, have a rather narrow and unrealistic view of what 'art' is. When I was young and/or younger, anything I produced solely from myself was just me doing what came naturally. I was simply trying to understand/interpret what was going on around me. Now I'm older, I don't want to understand the chaos that surrounds me, I want to avoid it. And 'doing what comes naturally' allows me to do that---until, of course, I no longer can. This is an 8 by 5.5 inches gel pen with color pencil drawing on medium bond acid-free paper. It is Original Jones Art playing the game more myopically in northwest Austin, Texas.

This one is more refined than the other two, yet I like each one individually . All bearing your mark of the pondering intellectual : ) good one Charles ! Hope you're having a vitamin D day in the sun,

Artist Reply: I'm just about done with 'A King Of Sorts.' Trouble is, I'm not sure it was worth all the bother. And I do mean 'bother.' Oh, well. Yes, the sun is out and the doves, mockingbirds, etc., are making themselves heard. Hope things are improving up your way, Dave. :)
