Being a relative newcomer, it was your inclusion To myself as an "artist to watch" that caused this return when you posted "Pensive". That brought me back again to "Morgan". You had made some kind remarks on one of my paintings that had caused me to initially look at your galleries. Not wanting to cheapen a compliment by making its seem quid pro quo I made none at the time but let me do so now. Great, love that you allow the light in it's strong counterpoint to drive what is otherwise understated. Sensitive treatment of the subject, wish I could have painted it. Thanks.

Great portrait. I love black and white photos of children. The subject matter is so candid and poignant. It lends itself so well to black and white. The simplicity is elegant.
