Metallic Gem

Again I used Metallic acrylic paint on a 10" X 8" stretched canvas. I applied thick coats of 2 shades of silver & then used pearlized metallic acrylic paints for the colors. This was a very difficult painting to do since the glare/shine off the silver made it very hard for me to see what I was painting. Obviously silver reflects light much more than the golds or the other colors. I hope that you enjoy “Metallic Gem”!

These metallics are great, it's a pity that they don't show their true colours on photos.

Very nice Sharon. Reminds me of an underwater aquatic scene.
