24 x 60 Canvas on deep gallery wrap stretcher frame. This is another rendition in the lucky "8" Koi series that I periodically paint. Both the"Koi" and the "number 8" are considered to be very lucky symbols. The title, refers to an observation I noted sometime ago, about how watching koi in a pond can be relaxing, just like takin it easy, watching a good program or movie on TV. I like to refer to the experience as watching "Channel Eight" or maybe even the "Serenity Channel". On a more literal level, there is an obvious channel in the bottom of the pond and of coarse... eight koi. And then again... maybe those that have a belief in the lucky number 8... channel it, when they need a little luck? Just a few options for interpretation. This painting may still be available.
