In the series LIGHT: Luna

Luna, part of the diptych "Light" found a new home
in Ithaca, the beautiful State of New York.

In the series LIGHT this is the second one: "LUNA" (Moon)
Check the first one "S O L E I L" HERE.
In total there will be 4 paintings.

The moving Moon went up the sky.
And nowhere did abide;
Softly she was going up,
And a star or two beside-
By Samuel Taylor Coleridge (1772- 1834)

(12x12, 1.5 inches) 31x31x 3cm Mixed media.
I particularly like the hues of BLUE'S contrasting beautifully with
the rich luminous Golden Hue's of the Moon.

Upcoming Wednesday I'll start my class "How to make your canvases pop."
I will exclusively work with all different textures.
Here is another example.
Hover over the painting with the quick- zoom feature to see all the details and textures in this small (12x12 inches) box canvas!

Great painting. Particularly I like the impasto passages where the painting reaches out for you!
