Workshop TEXTURES:In the series LIGHT:

S O L E I L , part of the diptych "Light" found a new home
in Ithaca, the beautiful State of New York.

In the series LIGHT this is the first one: "SOLEIL". (Sun)
Check "LUNA" (the Moon) -my 2nd one- HERE
In total there will be 4 paintings.

Upcoming Wednesday I'll start my class "How to make your canvases pop."
We will exclusively work with textures.
Here is an example.
Hover over the painting with the quick-zoom feature to see all the details and textures in this small (12x12 inches) box canvas!
It's considered a "collage" painting, because there's sheet music incorporated in the sun beams (hover over it and you'll see!)

Info about upcoming workshop:
"Olga will teach you the ins and outs of mixed media/collage from creating richly colored and textured materials to the presentation of the finished piece.
She shares the tips and tricks she has learned over the years to help you ensure your success.
You can experiment with different materials, mediums, and techniques and use them to expand your creative expression and achieve the effect you desire.
You will work towards developing subject matter to create a sense of continuity and harmony in a larger body of work.
Olga's workshop is inspiring and thorough and will keep you busy with years of creative expression.
Hand-outs are provided after each session with tons of information."
