How To Make Your Canvases Pop!(workshop: TEXTURES)

(This is just an example.)

Texture, another element of art, is used to describe either the way a three-dimensional work actually feels when touched, or the visual "feel" of a two-dimensional work.

Use of texture, along with other elements of design, can convey a variety of messages and emotions.
Texture gives a painting a character.

Artists may show texture in their paintings by using different brush strokes, layering colors, or by putting contrasting colors such as red and green next to each other so the painting shimmers.

And...
I'll kick it up a notch!

My Workshop
How To Make Your Canvases Pop!

During the month of June, July and August
I'll teach my art students how to use different heavy and light TEXTURES
in their
(abstract collage) artwork.

I'll teach you how to skillfully use texture(s)
to create contrast, stimulating the senses,
to give a composition both unity and variety.
