Blue Riders

©Seth F. Weaver,Sr. 04/15/10. It was dusk when the two cowboys started across the desert. They had heard all the stories from the Indians and the mountain men about not to enter it after dark, but they had to be somewhere in a hurry and this was the shortest route. They hadn't traveled far when things turned weird...swirling masses of pinkish lights started to startle the horses and then the wind sounded like mumbles and whispers. Just at that moment something came howling over the ridge and the riders froze and turned to meet their fate. A Compullage™ creation.

Incredibly done Seth,I love your western themed works, was always fascinated with that time since a child and used to read books about it,this is very creative and so cool with the distant blue rider looking rather mysterious ahead,my POD!

Artist Reply: Thank you very much Ruth. I can't remember when I've had a POD on AW. Thank you so much!

Great work, Dad! I like your use of focus in the background as opposed to the foreground.

Artist Reply: Thank you my darling daughter for your always appreciated comments. I thought that this work had a pastel feel to it.
