The bridge in this painting is the A25 highway (autostrada) as seen from a regional train while traveling from Rome towards the east coast of Italy, through Abruzzo, to Pescara on the Adriatic Sea. The autostrada faded off into the far distance, many miles away. Oil on stretched framed canvas - 16x20 ©2010 Donna Proctor
