Season of the Sticks

"Nigus" of a cough............
At the pace of a cough.. that endless rhythm.. UFFF.. without no ability to stop it.. 3 hours without the sleep this night.... Another hour of cough, as I get up..
Yes, my throat is too much scraping.. scratching...
Perhaps it started with throat pains... But it might continue too long.. and might become an allergic cough..
No I'm not ill.. but it take powers to cough, that much..
Part of me.. part of my life.
Is it the season ?.. I never remember when it comes, but when it comes, it refuses to leave.
"Celebration of sticks".. Not giving such stick to check me. Such stick is a stimulator for another cough attack.. might bring tears to the eyes with... the cough attack, I mean.

Marvelous picture Nira- reminds me pleasantly of the popsicle sticks that I used to enjoy saving and playing with as a child after I ate popsicles.

sorry for this seasonal affliction. sounds like some kind of allergic reaction. wishing you health and healing Dear Lady Nira...Remain in Light. love the post. perhaps "season of the sticks" would be a good alternative title.

Artist Reply: Hello Kelvin.. I'm blessed with a real charming doctor, as well as his wife, his secretary very charming, by the way. I like them both. But my years of experiencing my cough (including a time of my life with TRAUMATIC cough, in the 90's), I feel, the doctors never had a real solution to suit me, sorry to say so. My doctor would say, you don't take the inhalators..... Perhaps he's right.. PERHAPS I'M RIGHT. Let us be healthy. Thanks.

Artist Reply: Nellushka good morning! The sticks, I bought in 2008 to do art project with the kids, it comes in few sizes. I took shots before we made the work. I already used this photo for few digital artworks in this series of my cough. I still have many sticks, for future artworks. I thought now, I maybe do posts of cough, and could in future check the timing it comes, you know as a document. I feel better now, probabley will have few attacks during the day, and some cough in TIFZORET, around the day. Thanks for visiting. HUGS from Israel.

Artist Reply: AND, By the way there are ice cream that come on a stick shorter size then this, made of plastic, the tiny ice cream come in few colours at a package. My kid Yarin love them. again thanks!
