Artist Reply: Jerry - thanks for the comment, I am lucky to live in an area of NY state that has wintering eagles that fly from upstate NY and Canada to this area every winter because of the open rivers, I spend every Saturday from 8:00AM - 12:30 PM as an observer watching and educating visitors who come to see these eagles January thru March.
Artist Reply: Thanks Emily, this one was one of the best of the day, the ice thin and clear the eagles can see fish thru it but can't figure out how come they can't catch it, this eagle just touched down.
