Leaving Leadville

Is not the mountain far more awe-inspiring and more clearly visible to one passing through the valley than to those who inhabit the mountain? Kahlil Gibran 1/10/10 drive to Leadville to drop off Jo.

This brings back memories of Colorado from my youth. The Rockies are just such great, young mountains - so tall, so sharply defined and jagged in peaks. They are so different from the Appalachians with which I had more familiarity. You capture it nicely and with good colour. No strong blue casts in the snow. Has a Kodachrome feel rather than Ektachrome. Very nice.
