This has a dream-like quality to it, something deeper than Disney. What would be the nightmare of a mermaid? Perhaps being caught in a fishbowl. The speculation is interesting.

It was kind of you to keep her in the watercolour, she would have died in oil although she might be very tasty with chips, wonderful work young lady.
