Artist Reply: this is my favourite out of all my paintings i love him so much.he is in a gallery for sale though :( its mad i sort of dont want him to sell. on your comment about 'man' ...we live in a harsh world where choices are taken from us and lives are taken in untold numbers.....i dont agree with soldiers and wars ...they die for what? one of my boys wants to join the army and it burns within me that he even conetmplates that.i shall truly lose the plot if he does.i have already buried 2 sons one quite recently so my nerves arent the best.we are sent tests i believe...tests of patience , endurance,strength,love and pain...and i have been more than tested on all.i guess i am a'hippy' at heart and believe we should all get along and love one another as our own family...we should all link hands throughout the world to bring ...world peace...guns and killing does the opposite ! how obama got a nobel peace prize is totally beyond my understanding..but i'm british ..not american .anyway...have a great christmas...wishing you good health and lots of happiness....mandy x
