I can't tell you what a laugh riot it's been having one of me mates resemble that Famous International Jet-Setter from over in the states. In case you don't remember me old mate Dudley (recently married) had been asking to be one of the models in me work. Well, you know how it is - neighbors - me living in The Alice going up to Dudley's place up north in Darwin (long drive - good job I fly, eh?) Anyway, once that fella gets himself elected ( or rather his handles gets im elected) I got more modeling work for old Dud than he can deal with. Old Dud's getting famous - can't even buy his own fourecks there in Darwin - So him an me were having a few of the fourecks there in Dud's fav local in Darwin - being famous and all when these three Yanks comes in - apparently ACORN is hoping to expand a bit - anyway these three Yanks comes up - two big fellas and one little one and they had seen Dudley in some of me work up around Singapore and another on a flight into the NT and wanted some sort of go on - So Dud busts a half full fourecks over the first big fella's head and he's out of the dance and me and Dud toss a Crown for who gets the little fella - moot point - cause the big one pops me one right in the gob and the little one - turns out he's traveling a bit light - he starts kicking ol Dud in the shins and screaming like a sheila - so the dance has started up pretty regular so I figure all our fans'll jump in and change partners - I look around and the whole crowd's having a great howl - so I reckon all bets are off and kicks the remaining big fella in the nethers and he goes down like a sequoia at a lumber-jack's pic-nik and then I finishes him off with one of me old survival training moves - so he's sleeping like a dried wombat and Dud bitchslaps his opponent to cheers from the whole joint. Well - long story short - we stands the commies up and buys em a blinking round of "Fosters" - Ha! - the galahs didn't know any better than to drink the stuff (I've learned Yanks'll drink most any old brew ) - and old Dud & I drank and ate on the cuff till morning when we all put our happy visitors on the train out to the never-never - Ha! Great Fun and we're getting paid for it - Gotta Live It! No Fear ~:0) Oh yeah - the Pix - Yeah, turns out so many people in the states didn't live through the time of the Old Soviet Union - and course the schools in the states being Government run - that now they're ripe for reliving history - so thought an old left-handed tribute to one of me fav Uncle Jim Flicks would be amusing - to me ~:0)
