Winnie-M Posted on May 21, 2011 by Chas On this trip we ran into a local called herself Winnie-M. She asked if I ever did portraits. I told her I do ‘em all the time – long story short – this is the portrait I did for her. She said I captured her Texana-ness – - – Tex-anna-ness? Anyway, I’ve decided that I’ll be including pix of the indigenous inhabitants on this trek – this one’s the first. She told us many tales – few bore any relationship to any reality I could picture, but we had a good time visiting with her and we learned many secrets that day. She has the goods on everyone for miles around and is ready to reveal all at the drop of a Stetson. Stetson? It’s a hat – Great makers of all kinds of hats – especially what most of us might refer to as a Cowboy-Hat – - – there are many styles – I’ll give a go at chronicling the ones I come across in m’ travels – VivaChas! ~:0)
