I just put a photo in I had marked as Panama but don't remember the mountains being this big. I think its the same mountain range, maybe the other side? In photography this week. By the way Happy Birthday, No wonder we like each other, we are both aquarians!!! Mine is the 14th!
Nature's juxtaposition's are so wonderfully captured here Sharon.
From the rugged and harsh earth to the azure blue sky it runs the gamut of the color and emotional palette for myself as a viewer.

Sharon, This is a crisp clear photo composition of El Baru Panama. Foreground and back ground very carefully balanced.
Like old Faithful at Yellowstone it still shows it's history and story of past irruptions from many thousands of years ago.
It's real neat how the plumed smoke is rolling down from the Mountains in the background. Although it's extinct it appears that there is still heat venting from one of the vain's very deep under all the built up sediment
Sharon, it is thought provocative.
Sharon, This is beautiful. ( ihave been out of town. Mm fell again. This time fracturing her right hip and severely dislocating her right femur. She is also very congested and fear of that getting worse. Sorry I have not been vacant for so long. I am here for now. May be have to leave again soon???
Great pic.
whow. If that isn't a cloud then it does not look extint to me. Sometimes those so called extint ones start spitting again. It is a great shot Sharon of a place that few of us will get to see.
Wow, looks like a desert, I thought Panama was a jungle...
Artist Reply: Hi John,
Yes Panama is a jungle, mountains, rain forest, but this is where the volcano erupted and lots of lava rocks and so far nothing has grown again here even after all these years. And this is very high in the mountains too in El Volcan. Thank you so very much for your great comment and for looking. Take care and hugs, Sharon
Love this photograph! and that lovely fluffy white cloud! The only time i can imagine when a dark cloud came over Panama-was when that Great English adventureSir Henry Morgan was a Rapin' and a pillagin'! What a man-my hero!!!

Hi, Sharon, Volcano's fascinate me. I lived my early years and some later in Oregon, about 50 air miles from Mt. St Helens in Washington State, which you may have heard about having a huge eruption in 1980. Your photo is very interesting -- reminds me of the desert in Southern California. By the way, do you know that, for me, at least, the second photo is missing? When I come here I always get distracted by the wonderful photos of your darling kitties. I have two, so I know how it is! Keep up your wonderful work, Sharon. You are so kind and generous with your comments on other people's works! Peace, etc., Bruce
