John this drawing is absolutely stunning in fact all your portfolio is great. Is it all done in pencil ?

Artist Reply: Thank you Mary-Lee. This one is Airbrushed on a t-shirt. (I prefer to airbrush on Illo-board or foam board.) This was done during the tourist season so I had an abundance of white T-shirts during that time. It was a slow day so I decided to work on value studies...

"Gray value study"? Super rendition!

Artist Reply: Thank you sir. This was an exercise. Balanced values are most important. They are what establish form. Without sufficient form, our work looks flat and two-dimensional. I've heard that an artist should be able to draw the air around his subject. When I first heard this, I was totally confused. I have likewise seen your work. Most impressive.
