My first guess would have been somewhere in Europe. What's the inspiration for this architectural style? I like the way you zoomed in to highlight the most interesting elements. Nicely done.

Artist Reply: Thanks so much for the thoughtful comment! Built in 1896 (restored 1987) Denton County Courthouse was designed by renowned architect, W.C. Dodson, and described as Second Empire and Romanesque Revival in style. It is possibly one of the most-photographed courthouses in Texas other than Ellis County (Waxahachie).
