Visit my website @ www.terrygilecki.com 24 x 36 on gallery wrap canvas This piece is my take on the Koi pond painting by the master painter M.C. Escher entitled "Three Worlds". It is a study in blending the clouds you see in the reflection into what are actually the features of the pond bottom. The five koi in my piece are at different levels of being absorbed by the waters depth and reflection. I wanted the lily pads floating on the water to establish a depth of field giving some stability to the view.
