This is one of several stone bridges for the carriage roads in Acadia National Park, all with amazing stone work. The entire park was formerly owned by the Rockefellers, and was a playground for the ultra rich. They constructed a network of carriage roads winding through the park with these beautiful stone bridges over the roadways. The carriage roads are really great for biking, horses, and hiking, winding to points of beauty. Isn’t it amazing what obscene amounts of wealth can do…... Acadia National Park, Mt.
