When you were a kid and the small Tootsie Rolls were 3 inches long, did you ever twist and stretch it as long as you could?? That's where my daughter and I got the name for this unusual tree trunk. It has long been dead, but we were amazed at the color combination and twist. It really stands out in the forest.
