Constitution Cntr St. Joe, FL

Sharon De Vore Gonzalez's Facebook profile Behind my car you see the Constitution Center at Port St. Joe, Florida. Port St. Joe came into being in 1829 and this is where the constitution of Florida was created. Also Port St. Joe was the first capital of Florida. It was moved from here because the mosquitoes were so populace. It was thought that it would be better to move the capital inland away from the water and have less mosquitoes. Thus Tallahassee became the capitol of Florida.

Eyepopping car, Sharon...I wonder what the original old building looked like? Now I've learned something about Florida I didn't know too!

Artist Reply: Thank you so much, Gina. This IS the original old building. Another interesting fact that I forgot to mention is that Port St. Joe came into being in 1829. Wow huh? XOXOX Sharon

Great history, nice little building but that car is the highlight of the photograph. BMW makes a wonderful vehicle and an extremely strong case of envy seems to be coloring my outlook. This is a good shot Sharon.

Artist Reply: Thank you, Don, for your wonderful comment. I totally agree with your words here. I did not see much interest in the Constitution Center building, but a lot of interest in it's history. Soooo decided to let my car spice up the photo. :-)))) XOXOX Sharon
