The peace and tranquility that comes from this painting is wonderful. I admire your courage to let go and your bravery to try. Shame there are such morons like Joe Nads who don't have the intelligence or grace to keep their mouth shut when they don't understand what they are talking about. Keep going Bruce you are only getting better ! My best wishes to you Bruce from Jean

Artist Reply: Thank you so very much, Jean, my long-time friend and "superest" painter! This boost from you is very special and I know that you are very busy. All my best wishes for your continued outstanding paintings. I know they are your "life force," and little by little I am learning what that means myself -- so much to paint (or finish); so little time! Thank you again, Jean, Peace, etc., Bruce

For me is a vanishing star. Bruce it is beautiful , the colors are lovely, with out imagination and creative mind it is impossible to understand abstract art.

Artist Reply: Ah, my dear friend of many years, artist, and lover of nature and humanity! Your comments mean so much to me: encouragement when all my paintings look gray! HAHAHA! So then I can paint a self-portrait of my hair! Peace, etc., Bruce

This looks like a bird took a dump on a canvas. What did you do squeeze a chicken until it gave you the right consistency.

Artist Reply: Your comment is important to me. I'm totally busy at the moment. Please hold on and watch this box and I will be with you when your turn comes.

It looks like a blue bird fading away!! Very creative!

Artist Reply: Hi, Sharon! Glad to see you seeing my little gallery again. And thank you for your creative and imaginative comment! Peace, etc., Bruce
Artist Reply: Thank you, Sharon, for your comment and looking at the painting and telling what you see rather than that you like it. I am sorry this is so late. Peace, etc., Bruce
Artist Reply: Hi, Sharon, Let me apologize without excuse or explanation for being so long in thanking you for your imaginative comment. Peace, etc., Bruce

I love the fading away of the blues! Great illustration of the story!

Artist Reply: Hi again, Anneke! First I must sheepishly (not to insult the animals in your recent masterpiece) apologize for proving my KLUTZINESS by totally erasing your lovely comment and my reply on the last painting, DAWN. You had said something about the SERENITY and something nice that I admit I have forgotten, and I replied with trying to make some smart-donkey comment relating your comment to the SERENITY PRAYER (which many of us relate to St. Francis d'Assis, but others say it is older), and you related those two emotional states to a rose. Well, I looked at the painting some more and decided that it could be taken for an attempt toward a modern version of a rose. Anyway, I continued with some more rambling, as I usually do, thanked you again, and added something like this: And I want reaffirm to one and all that I am the world’s greatest Computer Klutz! Finally I have been politely told how to find the place to write replies. (Thank you, Anneke! And thank you also for encouraging me to post some of my paintings here on this beautiful, talent-laden site!) Now I can spend the rest of tonight joyfully writing, mostly belated, grateful replies to all the wonderful artists on ArtWanted! Peace, etc., Bruce
Artist Reply: Thank you again, Anneke, and if anybody has forgotten the Greek Myth of Icarus and his father Daedalus, there are good treatments in the search engines. The myth often is adopted by artists in any field or craft to exlemplify the striving of artists fearlessly to reach beyond to obtain freedom in artistic expression. It certainly is one of my favorite expressions. And I want reaffirm to one and all that I am the world’s greatest Computer Klutz! And thank you also for encouraging me to post some of my paintings here on this beautiful, talent-laden site!)
