Neighbor Hoods

These old car hoods are hanging on the fence to keep the cows from ducking underneath when standing in the water. The wiley cow... watch out! Copyright 2004 Brian Turner

Very interesting image. Like Mike, I too love the saturation of color in this image. Very unique shot and a great find.

What a great slice of Americana! I can tell you knew immediately what the possibilities were. The colors are nicely saturated. . .the overcast sky actually helps. Very nicely done.

Artist Reply: Thx so much, man. I do appreciate the words.

It's a funny idea and gives colors to the meadow

Artist Reply: I have seen the hood trick, growing up in the country. We did it with old corrugated tin sheets.- and we kept the hoods on the cars. These are the actual colors of the hoods. No painting in of any kind. I don't do that on any images. Whoever hung these had a good sense of placement.
