Original oil on canvas: 24" by 20" This is an example of formal portraiture intended to showcase my drafting and painting skills, as well as my ability to accurately acquire a likeness based on the length of proportion. I prepare my own photographs and work only from those poses that most flatter the sitter and only upon the consent of the commissioner. Terms for contracting my services are pretty straightforward: receipt of a $100 non-refundable deposit for preparatory sketches - the blueprints for your portrait commission - the full amount of which will be directly applied as a credit toward the total price of the commissioned portrait after receiving your full approval; 50% of the total remaining balance for the oil painting paid up front, at which time I begin the painting; final payment of the remaining balance upon your approval of the finished painting.
