Self Portrait

Most artists attempt to portray themselves in one or more self portraits during their careers.
These portraits do more than simply show us what the artists look like.
They often reveal the artists' personalities, interests and life styles.

I added a little bit of green (complementary color) in my hair and shirt to take the heat off this painting, but to keep the warmth of the portrait.
I also dragged some cadmium yellow dark from the background in my shirt.
