This was scary when I first saw it and it's still scary to look at now. Won't be going back to this part of the forest anytime soon.

great catch; the kind of thing I like to shoot but you have gone one better in black & white

Artist Reply: I really appreciate your comment, Brenda. Maybe I will experiment with a colorized version, just to see what happens. But the power of black & white definitely trumps anything color could muster for this subject. Thanks for taking a look.
