Soul Stained Blue

This piece was a lesson in patience for me...patience and devotion to a cause. Working on it became like a ritual (sometimes feeling like ritual torture!) because of the claustrophobic repetition. The blue butterflies have become an important personal metaphor and I have incorporated them into many pieces. I hope you enjoy this and it doesn't make you TOO dizzy viewing it! Original: 11"x14" on white Canson paper.
