This was a quaint little wash tub at the lake, that invited the flowers to grow. Photography by Sharon Lee copyright 2008

Sharon, this is a lovely shot. The way the sun kind of dapples through sets it off beautifully - not too bright & not too dark. You caught this at a great time.

Artist Reply: Hi thank you, I was on a moving Pontoon boat when I shot this.

I love this simple and expressive visual, Sharon, and it does indeed remind one of long ago days. The flowers that are in there are Purple Loosestrife, a 'runaway' wildflower that Wisconsin (and many other places) would like to eliminate. But I think they are lovely!

Artist Reply: Hi Anna, my father was in the hospital when you commented on this, and I didn't realize it. Thanks so much for the info on the flower, I wouldn't have known what they were. I'm glad you like it, this is one of my favorites too.

Artist Reply: Hi Heli, I'm sorry I didn't realize that you commented on this shot. You saw this around the time my Dad was very sick, and I was at the hospital with him. I'm glad you like this shot.
