This is an image I painted of one of our beloved cats--now deceased. Our daughter named her Morticia, but we called her Spooky. She wandered into our lives one Halloween. We tried hard to find her rightful owners, but learned she had been a neighborhood stray for a while. A dealer of mine took this painting for sale but her gallery was located near a river, and presumably, the painting was lost in a flood. She never told me, or even returned my calls about the painting. Sadly, both Spooky and her painting are long gone.
