Early Fall Run

I painted this back in the 80's while staying with my parents in Kirkland Lake. My father loved watching me work away at it and loved telling stories about my painting in the wee hours of the morning. It now hangs in a log home in Michigan.

Artist Reply: THank you Anneke..the "chicou's" are thanks to my mom. I still remember her saying' "where are the chicoos? " and I looked at her and said what? She said " the dead trees!?"
