A new kind of hummer I would say this hornet spent the day off and on feeding off the humming bird feeder

Ouch!!! that stinger looks deadly...lol. I can see why the hummers chased them off, they are as large as the birdies. Lovely capture.

Artist Reply: Thank you so very much Tammy I was awed by the brave hummer that would take this big fellow on and how the honey bee's were afraid of it every time he would come around they would leave or at least let him have free range.

Another terrific close up...my son was just stung by a wasp yesterday so currently he is not a fan of anything that resembles a bee/wasp.

Artist Reply: Thank you so very much Jessica I know how bad those bugs hurt a little medical secert if you want to you can use amonia that will stop the sting and also delete the pain just rub it on and you will see the pain and red area leave don't know why but it works wonders
