Catherine, thank you. The scene was actually a very quiet side street in Paris. I applied a speckle effect to the walls on the right. The gates were showing the road behind, so I got rid of this by applying motion blur about 20 times. The upper windows were given an emboss effect. Took about 7 minutes to do. The only tricky bit was that I wanted to leave the number 3 on the wall, cos I just liked it !
