I'm not one to generalize.. I've never liked to do that.. yes there is a lot of this type of perception in the world, and evil, and horrible things going on.. always has been.. BUT I'm a believer that the GOOD out ways the bad.. I've always believed that. We have to have strong faith in the GOOD. It is unfortunate that media etc tend to show us so much of the other.. but one does not have to bury one self in that murkiness. Go out into the real world around you and you will find real good people.. every where.. like here on AW. Very striking, and perceptive creation Cristine. Way to go. :o)

Makes the statement, well done. We know that is the truth, yet we sometimes divert onto the wrong path of which the Above can only guide us back unto the everlasting, forgiving, unconditional love.

What a powerful, shocking and poignant statement, Christine.... Love and Light~Olga

Extremely true and poignant, a shocker, we need to see, open our eyes, Lord!!! we want to see and know truth! I find this work highly unusual and gripping. It can not be denied or forgotten.

Artist Reply: Greetings My Beloved Sister, thank you for your time and your precious words and thoughts. I think of you always and wonder how you are.Are you well? Are you happy? I work nights, I have not been sleeping much because of it. It is very difficut to adjust to this night patrol. I do not care for it and I had much overtime for 6 months trying to catch up with bills I got behind on because of the move to California. I had to let my car payment go for 2 months so I would have money to drive back. I never had a full time position with my company out there like they promised for almost three months so the money grew practically nonexistant no matter what I tried. I was always looking for hours and an extra income. Things are very expensive in that state. 1,ooo dollars for a small apt. that is just rent alone and no guarantee of the quality, usually like the slums. Terrible. the heat 115 degrees for months at a time and I working out in it, patroling for a shopping mall, the only guard for 13 stores on the second shift, for less pay then my job in Wisconsin. I had to walk almost constantly and blacked out on the pavement by my car a couple of times from the heat since there was no where to retreat to, no office or guard house. Well, thank you for looking at this shot. This is someone I know that has a skin disease, not my Mom. I just wanted to make a statement. Humans value outward beauty too much and this person has had a struggle all his life, many people do not want to look at him. This is all over his body and it has no cure. It is not contagious, however. It is a rare disease. Sad. He has had a difficult time finding a women who would love him. Perhaps some would say that I should not subject anyones eyes to such a work, that is their opinion. This is not to demean him at all. I have not shown his face and will not reveal his identity in keeping his dignity. In Gods' Eyes he is loved and valued. How the world judges is sad so often. Praise the Holy One Of Heaven for your love. Be richly blessed Miracle Mermaid. Sinseerly CB
