Thank you for your interest in this painting. It is an oil painting (I have to correct that in the listing.) It's on canvas, the dark areas are thinner paint, the light areas more impasto.

Lovely! Especially the composition and the dark background colors. It's surprisingly moody for a floral.

Mostly everything I paint is a portrait, anyway, and I painted those two central flowers as if they were people.

I just saw the amazing photo of your pet, Nebo, getting a massage (or at least a greeting from his small friend)! Can't believe you were able to capture such an amazing moment! Have you seen the beginning of the movie, Wall-E, where the little robot has a cockroach for a friend? Your photo of Nebo reminded me of that.
