Julie Mayser 15 Jul 2008

Are the trees dead or why are they so white? I have never been to this spot, so you will have to fill me in! A very different type of landscape,,,, almost a ghostly scene!

Artist Reply: Julie, it was winter and no leaves on the trees. The sun was apparently shining on the trees making them look white. You can see the sun behind some dark trees on the right and it shone across the river making them look white. Also I think there were white tree trunks and limbs. It's been awhile since I was up there. Hugs, Sharon
