Ladies in Waiting Brooke

The oldest of the Queens ladies, was Brooke, the Queens own half sister. Who had been denied by their father, and denounced from the Noble family. Their father had shipped her off to the Island Kingdom of Irrendale . The queen had not forgotten nor forsaken her sister, and sent a large allowance to keep Brooke as a wealthy lady in Irrendale. Brooke had met the young Prince Sprent at a Royal Ball, and had fell head over heals in love with him. Though wealthy she could never be considered as a bride. Thus she never married. Upon her fathers death, and her marriage to Raymond the King of Armin. The first act as Queen was to bring her sister home and give her a place in the Royal house. The King Named her the eldest Princess of the Royal Family, with that none dared challenge her right of birth. Now nearly ten years later, King Sprent of Irrendale had died, and his son Richard had accented to the throne. His first act has King, was to send an envoy to The Court of Armin, requesting Princess Brooke’s hand in marriage. The Queens heart was filled with joy, as it looked as though her sister was going to get her fairy tale ending
