Greetings Friends ... This is a photo of baby birds in a nest in a wreath that hangs on my front door!! I think they are about 2 days old! The sad part is, I was going to take a picture of them a couple of days later and they were gone!!! Something had gotten the mother bird and all the babies because all that was left were big feathers and fuzz from the babies! I was sooooo upset!!!! This is the third time she has built her nest in that wreath. It is completely hidden and you have to get on your tiptoes and move a leaf to even see it!! The first nest she built this year something got the eggs... Anyway...I just stuck the camera in the wreath and snapped! Couldn't really tell what I was getting!! LOL Thanks so much for looking and have a spectacular day!! ... Blessings!!

Artist Reply: Yes...I am glad that I at least got the first pics! I just waited one day too long to try and get another one. A crow must have been watching and just waiting to get them! How upsetting... such tiny babies... it could be a crow or other birds of prey... or, perhaps some wild cat got into that nest - who knows... NG
