It's not easy to capture this one with a single photo so I add some additional information. Basically this is a square shaped piece of wood which was painted on and later a rose which was also colored with the same color that also appears on the "background" was fixed in the middle. Then the still wet rose softly "kissed" the plate before it was installed slightly above it. This process left some subtle traces on the plate which on the photo can merely be seen as shadows produced by the sunlight shining on it.
