NYREE - Acrylic on Wood

This is a portrait of my beautiful Scottish friend, Nyree... It was done on a wood board that had some very porous "holes" in the grain... those are the awful marks you see going down her face... I painted it with Golden Liquid acrylics... She has a straw in her mouth, and notice how she gazes right at the viewer of the painting :)

Beautiful work Tammy. Love effect of the wood grain.

Artist Reply: Thank you so much William, and I was really disliking the woodgrain and wishing I had noticed it would do that before I started painting! But I'm no longer gonna worry. :)
