Flat Arch, Panama

This Flat Arch was the reason the Canal was built in Panama. Because this Flat Arch was built back in the 1400s or 1300s and was still standing showed that earthquakes were minimal in Panama. So Panama was chosen for the locks canal. This painting is in a private collection.

A wonderful piece of old-world architecture and a great story to go with it. The acylic painting is also very nicely executed.
