Why Do you Hide, Silk ? :-) ...

This is my cat, Silk to those that not yet met him : He was found at the main air port, Lod, Israel. Adopted by myself from S.O.S organization for pets. His estimated age is about 3.8 years old. Silk is a most wonderful LOVING to me especially, and also to us that live with him . The problem starts when someone not familiar enough to him come home... even my parents :-).. he's very afraid of guests :-) and... he runs immediately for a cover. This photo was taken few days ago, when my assistant came to help with the cleaning... Of course Silk saw him many times, but each time, the same story... This time, I found him under my blankets, which is good :-)... He usually don't go under the blankets, but above :-)....... Thanks for viewing and commenting. Best Wishes... I can imagine the scene. Its his way of protecting you. First he finds a secure comfortable spot for you but tests its out himself until the danger passes. If it were a dog like mine he would bark at guests until it got of their system and then sit down to be petted by the very person they barked at. By the way thanks for the kind e-mail you sent me this weekend.

Artist Reply: Did I send you an e.mail .. ?... Do you mean my reply to you ? :-))... Anyway you are so welcome, Steven. I think its Silk's way to protect himself, not me, my dear friend :-)... He's totally hysterical, when people come here. I mean it... Here in this photo, he's a bit afraid, but... actually in reality... he hides, under the a table near the washing machine... or behind the sofa, his best hides.... Sometimes guests wish to sit on the sofa.. in this case, you'll see him flying like a flying saucer; frisbee straight under that table... when people see it, they laugh... it seems funny... but he really is histerical. You know ALL the members of my family are great cat lovers.. and truly sometimes they simply wish to see my cat... the best they can see is a flying saucer :-)... Even if I was in vacation, and my father came here everyday to feed the cats... he could not see Silk. Thanks for your comments... Have a delightful day, Nira.
