A Cat Is Very Like a Pear

One day I wanted to use a cat in a still life so I looked up cat anatomy and said to myself, "Oh, I see. A cat is very like a pear!". Thus was born the inspiration for this painting. What I like about it is that the platform actually "floats"! Oil on canvas

Another wonderful painting of yours! Great color scheme in this. Yes, cat's are rather pear shaped, which is why I paint my Lil in a pear shape. Love your work!
