The petals are amazing, they veins in are so incredibly small and delicate! I don't know how you do it, especially with acrylic paint.
Artist Reply: Alesandra, Thanks again. I water down my acrylic until it is almost the consistancy of watercolor, but without the spreading ability. Works well for me that way. Thank you again. Diane
This is just plain superior! Terrific use of color in the background, awesome detailing and nice balance/unity to the scheme! Touche!
Artist Reply: Shellton, Thank you so much , this is the first piece I sold when I got started. I got 250.00 for it at the" Moonpie Festival" in BellBuckel, Tennessee in 2004. Thanks again, Diane
Have you considered submitting any of your work to DaySpring Greeting Cards? It is a Religion-based Greeting Card Company...seems a shame not to share this beautiful artwork with the world.
Artist Reply: Sherrie, Thank you so much for all of your comments, I might consider submiting "The Lion of Judah" to them ( the Greeting Card co. ) How do I do that? Email me at home at [email protected]. thanks Diane Deason
