Artist Reply: Thanks, Danielle! I really appreciate your comments. I just got into wood cuts and I really like how simple and direct it is after the hassle of lithography. The Hummingbird was my second attempt and technically is lacking, but it was fun to do and I liked how it turned out anyway. I apologize for taking so long to respond to you. April, May and June are tough months for me, very little downtime, and my correspondence tends to really suffer. -Marcia

We are one of a very few species of vertebrates that can see all all those colors, so we should appreciate them and use them in all expression. I've seen your work before, I know I have.
