Very nice, Faye! Luv the mane!!!~S

Artist Reply: Thanks steve. Yes this fellow is well endowed with flowing mane and tail and surprisingly free of tangles considering its length'

Excellent..wonderful style and colors..highlights are fantastic..and shading too

Artist Reply: Thanks Robin. Though I had a photo for reference - it was seeing the animal in person that helps an artist put something of the feeling the live animal leaves with you. This fellow is pure wind - he will charge out to meet you - not attack but defiant and rotective of the harem. A true mustang.
Artist Reply: Thank you. Sorry so late getting back to you. Have got so far behind. WIL TRY SOON TO CHECK YOUR PORTFOLIO. tHANDKS AGAIN.

Very beautfiul work!

Artist Reply: Thanks. He still has five mares in his herd and that is good for an aged stallion.

I so envy your ability to capture horses, Faye............this is a great painting - you've not only catpured the physical, but the character too :o))

Artist Reply: To see this horse in the flesh is an experience never to be forgotten. Some of the ranchers resent the wildies but they live in the higher ledges where cattle do not venture.

So verY wonderful FaYe!

Artist Reply: Thanks Annette. Last report I had was this fellow and his small band have made it through another winter. He is getting up in years but still manages to hold onto his harem. He bears the scars of many challenges. Sad that age and time are catching up to him.
