Smokey: 48 inches x 36 inches x 2 inches acrylic painting. The gallery wrapped canvas is painted to the exposed edge that it may be hung without a frame. FAR #: 2662 Smokey, by Jake Beckman, AKAJake, AKA Jake, features the Great Smokey Mountains from an aerial perspective at sunrise perhaps. A great blue heron soars over head. Smokey's dramatic colors are blue, purple, pink, black, white and just a touch of yellow. The work is federally copyrighted. All reproduction and publishing copyrights are retained by the artist. Images are not to be copied, re-distributed, imitated, derived OR otherwise used in any form without the explicit written permission of the artist. Not all of my aerial series paintings actually have the very abstracted aerial landscapes as subject. This painting is what the Great Smokey Mountains of my imagination look like. In Arizona there is a place called Sunset Point, which is the starting point for my inspiration. Most of the pictures of the Great Smokey Mountains show a landscape in shades of grays, blues and bluish-purples. I have chosen to add a misty pink sunrise to the lavender and violet valley of my imagination. I find the over all effect with the sunlit soaring Blue Heron very serene.-Jake AKAJake.com Come Experience the Art!
