My very Belated condolenses. Our dads were the same age. I lost mine in 2007 and it hurts me still. I miss him so much. Those words are lovely, he must have been quite a man to have raised you so well.
I am sure your father was looking down on you when you composed this with joy in his heart and possibly a tear in his eye. Your joy is in knowing that he is free for pain and in the Lords presence and there is no greater joy then that.

Lovely thought. Your father looks like a nice man. It helps to create artwork of your loved ones. In some small way it gives them a little immortality here on earth. That may or may not be a comfort, but it helps me.

There will be a day that you will reunite and only our Lord knows when. You still haven't finished your journey and have many things to see. Your Father has finished his journey here on earth and is happy where he is. Now he will start a new journey that only God will know what he will be doing.
My love and Prayers are out to you and you family. This is a very hard part of our lives. We need to know we cry because we are missing him, soon you will just remember all the wondrful things he did in his life. That is when the mourning will stop.
